March 9, 2010 -- The Milwaukee Bucks, fresh off a six-point win versus the NBA's best Cleveland Cavaliers, made a fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Boston Celtics 86-84 on Tuesday night.
Only one team entered the evening streaking better than the Boston Celtics, who had chalked up four W's in a row. Unfortunately for the Celtics, they happened to playing that team: a red-hot Milwaukee Bucks who had won 9 of 10.
The Bucks used an 18-9 fourth-quarter run to put them ahead, 86-79. Rajon Rondo converted a three-point play, then Kevin Garnett hit a jumper to cut the lead to two with 53 seconds left. Paul Pierce missed a potential game-tying shot just before the final horn. Rondo had 20 points for Boston.
Andrew Bogut had 25 points and 17 rebounds and the Milwaukee Bucks knocked off another Eastern Conference heavyweight,
Carlos Delfino added 19 points for Milwaukee in a game that featured a heated on-court confrontation between Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings and the Celtics' Glen Davis midway through the fourth quarter. Davis and Jennings each were assessed technical fouls after Davis fouled Jennings hard on a breakaway layup and Jennings didn't appreciate the contact.
